Notes

Use a microplane or fine grater to collect just the bright orange zest, avoiding the bitter white pith underneath to prevent bitterness in the filling., Keep heavy cream and mixing bowl cold for the fluffiest whipped cream., Make sure the graham cracker crust is completely cool before adding the filling to maintain a crisp texture., Optional: Add a splash of orange liqueur such as triple sec or Cointreau to boost citrus flavor., Loosely cover with plastic wrap while chilling to prevent absorbing fridge odors., Freeze for a firmer, almost ice cream-like texture., Swap graham crackers with gluten-free cookies or almond flour for gluten-free version., Use coconut condensed milk and coconut-based whipped cream with vegan graham crackers for a vegan version., Substitute sweetened condensed milk with sugar-free alternative and lightly stevia-sweetened whipped cream for a low-sugar version.
